DJ Tangerine has had a natural ear for music since an early age, backed by over 15 years of experience behind the decks. Growing up, his sound was shaped by the energy of 80s new wave and 90s hip hop before evolving into a deep passion for electronic music. Over time, he explored and refined his style across genres including hard house, trance, progressive, disco house, and ultimately indie electro disco, where he found his signature sound.

Under the mentorship of DJ Dan-knee, DJ Tangerine developed and strengthened essential mixing skills, gaining a deeper understanding of the craft and artistry behind DJing. This foundation elevated both his technical ability and his presence, earning him growing respect and recognition among peers, family, and Houston’s thriving indie music scene.

In just a few years, DJ Tangerine has become a notable figure in the nightclub circuit. When he’s not behind the decks, he enjoys practicing Brazilian jiu-jitsu, golfing, gaming, and exploring Houston’s diverse food scene.
